Event Description:

In celebration of the Cortez Grand Ole Opry and the rich musical heritage of Cortez, FMM has partnered with the Cortez Cultural Center to host Music on the Porch. 

2nd & 4th Saturdays

NEW TIME:  12 pm–2 pm 

This FREE music event series is held on the second and fourth Saturday of every month in the Chickee Hut between FMM and the Cortez Cultural Center. The jam session begins at 12 pm and continues until 2 pm. Children and adults are welcome. Audience members are encouraged to bring a chair. Park in the museum lot and follow the music through the field to the thatched hut.

Come enjoy the music, or bring an acoustic instrument and play along!

Keep in mind that Music on the Porch is a jam session, so music is not guaranteed. Musician participation varies.
