From the Tony® and Grammy® Award-winning creators of Spring Awakening, Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik, with co-writing by Jessie Nelson (Waitress), Alice by Heart is a deeply moving musical inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Set amid the rubble of the London Blitz during World War II, the story follows Alice Spencer, whose teen life is upended when she and her dear friend Alfred take shelter in an underground tube station. When Alfred falls ill and is quarantined, Alice invites him to escape into the fantastical world of their cherished book, journeying down the rabbit hole into Wonderland. Alice by Heart is a tale of first love, loss, and resilience, celebrating the transformative power of imagination even in the darkest times. With heart, whimsy, and unforgettable music, this musical invites audiences to experience wonder, hope, and courage on every page — and every stage.
