Event Description:

Tourism has a strong effect on the success of many of our local businesses and is an important driver of our economy. Despite the challenges of a global pandemic, tropical weather, and red tide, our area has experienced consistent and significant growth in visitors to our area. 

Elliott will share how the BACVB’s efforts in diversifying our tourism base have allowed the community to sustain our momentum… and what to expect in the future.


About Elliott Falcione: A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Elliott spent the first six years of his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Club.  Since then, he has spent over 28 years working for Manatee County Government — 13 of those as the Executive Director of the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau — serving a community that he dearly loves.

He and his team are responsible for showcasing Manatee County, domestically and internationally, as a destination for business and leisure travel. He also oversees operations of the Bradenton Area Convention Center, the Powel Crosley Estate, and the Manatee County Tourist Information Center at the Ellenton Premium Outlets mall.
