Job description POOL SERVICE TECHNICIAN   If you don't have pool experience, that's ok, so long as you have a strong work ethic, an attention to detail, an appetite for learning, and a positive attitude, we can teach you the pool service trade. Those that love working outside and have experience in pool service, lawn care, landscaping, painting, construction, pest control, cleaning, and janitorial are encouraged to apply.   Pool Technician Benefits   Compensation: Starts at $15- $20 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Wage advance with quality work, good communication, professionalism, and being a good team player. Monday through Friday work week expected 40 hours, plus overtime some weeks. Over 40 hours paid at time and a half. Opportunity to earn discretionary bonuses throughout year Paid training typically 1-2 weeks Company vehicles, gas, insurance, equipment, and uniforms with chemicals and supplies located on-site Pool Technician Responsibilities Check water chemistry and balance pool water through the addition of the appropriate chemicals Maintain pool cleanliness by brushing, vacuuming, netting, cleaning tiles, and emptying baskets of debris Develop and nurture customer relationships Document your visit with supplied company phone and with proprietary software to advise customer of completed tasks on the visit Maintain and clean roughly 75 residential pools on a weekly basis, generally 15 to17 per day Expected workweek of around 40 hours but likely to vary between 38 - 45 depending on the condition of your pools and your efficiency Pool Technician Qualifications   Must have availability to work Monday – Friday. Start time between 7:30 - 8:00 am daily Must be over 21 with a clean driving record (no recent major accidents or infringements) due to company auto insurance requirements. Must be capable of lifting to 50 lbs. plus and conducting physical labor in the Florida heat and weather Excellent customer relationship building and communication is a must Must have a positive attitude and work well independently while exhibiting team-oriented You’ll be part of a large pool service operation with a typical training period of 2-3 weeks. This person will be responsible for maintaining pools Monday –Friday. We provide the truck, equipment, and all chemicals required.
