Pineapple Kitchen Kids Basic Culinary and Restaurant Education Course for ages 8-13, Mon - Wed, 10AM - 4PM, Thursday, 10AM - 8PM Pop up Restaurant Graduation Dinner) Held in the Pineapple Kitchen Culinary Theater, 4914 Lena Road, Unit 104, Lakewood Ranch FL 34211 $375/Student Price will go up to $400 after November 24th, 2022.
Camp includes basic cooking and baking, food safety, restaurant etiquette and operations and will culminate in a four-course graduation dinner for two family members or friends on the last day, Thursday, prepared and served by the students in our mock restaurant. Each student will receive an embroidered Chef's Apron & Hat with their name, measuring spoons & measuring cup and a class course book. Students will prepare their lunch daily. This 4 Day Culinary Course will teach: Principles of Food Safety in the Kitchen Best Practices for Food Preparation Basic Kitchen Tools and Measurements How to Create and make their own Charcuterie Boards for an Appetizer How to Create and make a Main Course Meal and Dessert Learn Customer Service and Table Etiquette for Dining Presentation Skills and Basic Restaurant Operations with Role Playing and so much more! Class size limited to 12 Students.
