Web Accessibility Is a Must - Learn Why and How to Comply

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires web content be accessible to people who have disabilities that affect their hearing, vision or physical capabilities. What does that mean for you and your business and how can you ensure your website is compliant?

Mary LeVine, an attorney with Blalock Walters, P.A., will discuss the legal ramifications of ADA, lawsuits that have been filed against businesses both large and small, and what it means to you from a legal and financial perspective. Following Mary's presentation, Daryl Schmucker, President of Noble Webworks, will provide insight into how you can ensure your website is accessible. He's got a number of great tools - some of which are free - to help test your site and implement the necessary changes.

This is an important topic that is crucial to all businesses. Website accessibility lawsuits nearly tripled from 2017 to 2018 and 96% of lawsuits filed were in Florida and New York. Getting your website compliant is the law... and the right thing to do!
