Event Description:
The Manatee River Garden Club’s November program is titled “The Garden Footprint” taught by Kara Tyler-Julian. Kara’s presentation will look at common gardening practices and how they affect our environment. She will offer eco-friendly approaches to lighten any negative impacts. Topics covered will include fertilization, weed management, pest and disease control, watering, pruning and more. Currently she works for Lee County Mosquito Control. In addition to her vast knowledge, Kara’s sparkling personality and humor make her an outstanding speaker and Garden Club favorite.
