Event Description:
The February program sponsored by the Manatee River Garden Club on Wednesday, February 19 from 1-2 pm is “The Art of Ikebana”. It is presented by Pat Bonarek, president of the local chapter of Ikebana International and a certified instructor of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana. She studied Ikebana in Japan and now shares her knowledge with others around the world. Her creative Ikebana arrangements are both traditional and modern and express the beauty of nature. Open to the public.
