Event Description:
Join us in The Planetarium at The Bishop to celebrate the Winter Solstice! Explore the rising winter constellations and get to know your night sky. Learn some tips and tricks to finding your favorite objects and take a closer look at images from the JWST! Keep an eye out for amazing meteor showers and a total lunar eclipse as we look forward to the chilling astronomical events of the season.
Don’t miss out on a free telescope observing event on December 13th from 6 to 10 pm. We’ve partnered with the Local Group of Deep Sky Observers to bring Sidewalk Astronomy to The Bishop!
 
Doors open at 6:30pm. Presentation begins at 7pm inside The Planetarium.
Preregistration required.
$10/$3 for Members/Members under 17; $15/$5 for Non-Members/Non-Members under 17.
Beer and wine cash bar available.`
Seating in The Planetarium is on a first-come, first-served basis.
