Event Description:
Marlane Wurzbach’s bold and colorful acrylic paintings will be featured in a month-long exhibit entitled “New Horizons” this January at Island Gallery West. Ms. Wurzbach was a longtime resident of Anna Maria Island and now paints in Sarasota where she creates detailed scenes to explore natural beauty and history of our area. A highlight of the exhibit will be a public reception at the gallery on Friday, January 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM as part of the monthly Holmes Beach Art District ArtWalks. Come join many of the gallery’s 29 artist members for fine art, refreshments, music by Chip Ragsdale, and fun. Island Gallery West is located at 5368 Gulf Dr., Holmes Beach, FL, Trolley Stop 15 on Anna Maria Island. Ms. Wurzbach's exhibit runs from January 2 through January 31.
