Island Gallery West Presents Janet FLickinger - Novembers Featrured Artist

“Everyday Life” Janet Flickinger’s November Featured Artist show at Island Gallery West on Holmes Beach is inspired by her desire to capture the interaction of people as they conduct their everyday pursuits of life. Her style can be characterized as social or photorealism with a highly technical and detailed structure; her works are done primarily in pencil. The result is work that combines the fluidness of the human figure with the structure of architecture. Janet has had a long desire of recording life around her —recording history, rather than creating decorative art. Janet is a Florida artist who shows her work at the Island Gallery West.
