A former resident of the Midwest, Marg now calls Florida her permanent home.
After a career in the advertising world, she now explores her love of nature and expresses it with the spontaneity of self-taught realistic watercolors and acrylics. “I have a strong desire to preserve in paintings the beauty of the world around us.” She creates her paintings in plein-air, or from her photos of Southwest Florida flora, fauna and landmarks. She also paints from her photos taken while traveling in England, Europe and the Caribbean.
In addition, Marg offers commissions for paintings from your favorite photos. A member of the Lakewood Ranch Art League, Marg is a Signature member of the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society and is an Associate member of the Florida Watercolor Society. Marg has exhibited in several SW Florida galleries in Sarasota, Bradenton, Pine Island and Naples. Her paintings are included in several national and international collections and her watercolors are currently in the Island Gallery West, Anna Maria Island, FL.
