Event Description:
The Gulf Coast Flute Choir will be performing their annual Christmas Concert on Monday, December 17, 2018, at 7:00PM. The program will include traditional Christmas classics and popular holiday favorites. The ensemble consists of over twenty members performing on piccolo, concert, alto, and bass flutes. The group is directed by Taylor Irelan, whose solo recordings have been broadcast on NPR and BBC Radio, and he has performed with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Pueblo Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra. The concert is free, but donations are greatly appreciated. A reception in the fellowship hall follows the concert.
