Centerstone, a nonprofit mental health system, will be hosting their annual Community Showcase & Art Show to End Sexual Violence on Wednesday, April 12th from 4-7PM. The free, family-friendly event is open to the public and will be hosted by the 13th Avenue Dream Center at 922 24th St E in Bradenton.
The event will feature art exhibits from past survivors of sexual assault and violence, health screenings and resources from more than 30 community partners, and free food and kid’s activities. April is recognized nationally as Sexual Assault Awareness Month and by hosting this event Centerstone hopes bring awareness to the topic of sexual assault, while providing a safe space for survivors on their journey of healing.
