Back by popular demand, take a guided walking tour of the 1850 Manatee Burying Grounds!

Two guided tours will take place in the daylight of Spring on March 28th. Learn the cemetery’s history and landscape, personal stories of those buried, and the meaning of tombstone shapes and symbols.

Tours will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 11:00 am and at 2:00 pm. Each tour lasts approximately one hour.

Special Tour Fee: $10 per person. Limited spaces, non-refundable. Tickets will go on sale at the end of February. Tickets must be purchased in advance - www.manateevillage.org.

Appropriate clothing and footwear is encouraged. Tours take place outside with natural elements including uneven ground and exposure to sunlight. Changes due to weather will be decided 30-60 minutes before tour. In case of rain, the tour will take place in the 1887 Church with a presentation.
