Auditions for Sunset Boulevard
Event Description:
The final show of the 2022-2023 season is the musical version of Billy Wilder’s film. Sunset Boulevard is a tale of faded glory and unfulfilled ambition and we are looking for talented and passionate performers to bring this story to life! 
  • Auditions begin at 7 PM each night.
  • Actors audition in the order they arrive.
  • You should prepare a song in your key and be ready for any movement portion of the audition that the director may require. 
Anyone being called back will be notified that night of the callback time and date. Not being called back does NOT mean that you are not being considered for a role.
 
If you wish to submit a video audition, please email it to Rick Kerby at artisticdirector@manateeperformingartscenter.com.
 
Video submissions must be received no later than Friday, January 20th. 
  • These are non-paid volunteer roles in all shows.
  • You must be 13 years of age or older to audition for an adult role. 
SUNSET BOULEVARD opens Thursday, April 27, 2023 and is scheduled for a three-week run.

Rehearsals are scheduled to begin in late February.
