Event Description:
Transportation Infrastructure Is Key to a Strong Business Environment
L. K. Nandam, P.E.
FDOT District Secretary

You’ve no doubt either heard about or experienced traffic-related issues in our area. Transportation projects abound throughout our community - from improvements to Manatee County I-75 interchanges to the recommendations for a new bridge crossing over the Manatee River to a number of urban core improvements to relieve downtown traffic congestion.

All of these projects and others directly impact your business’ bottom line. Be sure to bring your questions and meet our District Secretary to hear the latest on what to expect.

L. K. Nandam, P.E. is the District Secretary for District One of the Florida Department of Transportation. He has a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from Andhra University, India and a Masters of Science in Transportation Engineering from Wayne State University. Prior to becoming the District Secretary, he has served as the Director of Operations and District Traffic Operations Engineer at the Florida Department of Transportation, as the Traffic Operations Engineer with the City of Boca Raton, and as a Sr. Transportation Engineer with a private sector engineering firm.

Cancelations after Monday, October 29 will be invoiced, as reservations will have been made on your behalf.
